The lustrous green leaves grow 2-4 inches long. The flowers are light pink and white that are very fragrant, and bloom in early spring. Pachysandra is native to Japan, China and North America. This ground cover plant thrives in shade and has a nick name of green carpet since its used around tree and shrubs.
